Biosensor, LLC is a research and development company whose purpose is to research, develop, and improve a proprietary ISO-smart card compatible biometric fingerprint matching system (FPS). The FPS is a crucial component of a complete biometric verification, authentication, payment, and privacy protection system based on the Super Smart Card™ developed by Biosensor’s parent company, IVI Smart Technologies, Inc. (IVI) - the Biometric Verification Security System (BVS2™).

IVI'S BVS2™

The BVS2™ is a complete end to end security, authentication, identification, and payments system enabled by the FPS-equipped Super Smart Card (SSC™). Biosensor, LLC is a specialized research and development subsidiary of IVI, and as such remains focused on improving the FPS through research and development of materials, manufacturing, security, software, and hardware. IVI will take the lead in marketing, manufacturing, and distribution. Our exclusive licensing agreement with IVI requires IVI to pay Biosensor $0.35 for each and every FPS sold. In exchange, IVI retains exclusive right to market, manufacture, and sublicense both the current FPS and any and all improvements and modifications Biosensor discovers.
